报告摘要:
      Three-way decision concerns thinking, problem-solving, and computing in threes.  A triad of three things is a basic structure underlying three-way decision.   The notion of SMV (Symbols-Meaning-Value) spaces is a basic triadic structure to explain what and how we humans and intelligent machines see, know, and do. By combining SMV and the triad of WHY-WHAT-HOW, we can build a 3-by-3 model for constructing explanation in explainable artificial intelligence (XAI).
报告人简介:
      Yiyu Yao is a professor of computer science with the Department of Computer Science, University of Regina, Canada. His research interests include three-way decision, granular computing, rough sets, formal concept analysis, information retrieval, data mining, and Web intelligence. He proposed a theory of three-way decision, a decision-theoretic rough set model, and a triarchic theory of granular computing. He has published over 500 papers.
