        由美国密歇根州立大学Parisa Kordjamshidi教授、德国汉堡大学Jae Hee Lee博士、瑞典厄勒布鲁大学Mehul Bhatt教授、法国蒙彼利埃大学Michael Sioutis教授、西南交通大学龙治国博士共同组织的“第三届时空推理和学习国际研讨会”（3rd International Workshop on Spatial-Temporal Reasoning and Learning）, 是2024年国际人工智能顶会IJCAI的Workshop之一，将于2024年8月在韩国济州岛与IJCAI 2024一同举行。STRL 2024是一个面向青年研究人员和行业工作者的研讨会，其主题聚焦时空推理与机器学习的结合，针对逻辑推理与机器学习之间的非此即彼的错误困境，旨在引起关于构建一类混合型人工智能系统的讨论，该系统应具备健壮性、泛化能力和可迁移能力。我们认为，定性或定量的时空推理模型自然地建立在物理学和人类认知的基础之上，一个（符号化的）时空知识库可以提供可靠的因果种子，使机器学习模型能够在此基础上进行泛化，同时提升因果表示学习的可靠性和可解释性。
